Fuse+ is Fuse Media’s fourth launch in 2021.
Latino-owned Fuse Media is launching another streaming service — its fourth of 2021. The new Fuse+ will focus on inspiring and motivational content targeting multicultural millennial and Gen Z audiences and changing the way multicultural audiences are represented in media.
The company says the goal is to create a purpose-driven content platform aimed at empowering and inspiring its audience through solution-oriented entertainment. The new streaming platform will feature over 500 hours of original Fuse programming, including bingeable original series, docs and films with “new voices and colorful stories that celebrate, motivate and elevate,” which unite the unique cultures that make up a blended America and can positively shift viewers’ perspectives.
“As the only entertainment brand that hands the mic to our audience, Fuse+ is uniquely positioned as a brand created and curated by, and for, a young, diverse viewer that craves representation in what they stream,” says Miguel Roggero, CEO of Fuse Media. “It is disappointing that in 2021, people of color still struggle to find enough programming that reflects their cultures and communities — especially with so many streaming options available today. As a Latino-owned entertainment company, it’s our mission to fill this void by connecting our audience with authentic content that will empower and inspire.”
Fuse+ is now in beta stage, available on Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV. The full, official launch is expected by this fall, expanding its reach to more connected TV platforms and mobile devices.
The subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service is $1.99 per month, $19.99 annually, or accessible with TV Everywhere authentication included with pay TV services. The company states a subscription will give viewers access to exclusive original content, all Fuse Media originals as they premiere on the company’s linear channels, and the entire library of Fuse programming.

Among Fuse’s originals that will be available on the platform: Shine True, in which mentors and role models help a non-binary or trans person explore their inner identity and passions, Like, Share Dimelo, a talk series exploring trending topics in Latino and millennial issues and Sex Sells, a show that explores sexuality and sex-focused businesses, as well as every episode of Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce, Big Freedia Bounces Back, T-Pain’s School of Business and Made From Scratch.
The platform will also showcase a wide array of independent and inclusive filmmakers and talent in front of and behind the camera in its award-winning Fuse Docs and Fuse Films series.
Fuse+ will also have a free tier where fans can access the first episode of all Fuse originals, the company’s entire catalog of short-form original content and its three other free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) brands launched this year: Fuse Backstage (where artists come to play) and Fuse Beat (entertainment and lifestyle that moves to the rhythm of Black culture) that went live on March 24, as well as Fuse Sweat (features 1980s icons who fueled the at-home fitness craze), which debuted on May 12.
Fuse Media got its start 16 years ago SíTV, founded by Jeff Valdez. It was rebranded to NuvoTV in 2011 before evolving into the current Fuse Media in 2015, which includes Fuse and FM (Fuse Music) linear and VOD channels, Fuse Digital, OTT channels, Fuse-branded apps and live events. A Latino-led management group, headed by Fuse Media CEO Miguel “Mike” Roggero, acquired a majority, controlling interest in the media company in November 2020.
